Emacs Spice (Layla/Eldo/Hspice) mode

Please check the new/updated page on netlist modes for (X)Emacs (this page will automatically be loaded in 120 seconds if your browser supports it)

On this (obsolete) page you can find a major spice mode for emacs version 20/21. It is based on the (old) spice mode of Carlin J. Vieri and the (recent, actively maintained) eldo mode of Emmanuel Rouat.
This new implementation borrowed heavily from the vhdl-mode.el implementation of Reto Zimmermann and Rodney J. Whitby.
Spice mode's features are:
  • syntactic coloring for spice2g6, spice3, eldo, hspice and layla keywords and constructs
  • tempo templates for often used spice constructs
  • imenu support: find subckts in local files, .model and .end statements, layla constructs ...
  • speedbar support: browse spice directories
  • auto fill support (inserts newline and continuation '+' automatically)
  • customizable: either hspice, eldo, layla or any combination of these can be turned on for syntactic coloring and imenu/speedbar expressions.
